Data Security

While the benefits of outsourcing to operations with an established track record are proven, data security is of paramount importance. At Valenta, we make this a top priority and we have in place several systems, both physical and non-physical, to ensure our client data is safe and secure. We are ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, and GDPR compliant. The IT infrastructure at all of our centres is up-to-date with the latest software, firewalls, and tools in information security management.

Physical Controls

Biometric scanners and access card-based security for employees/visitors entering the premises
CCTV based monitoring at all office premises
IT security related issues managed by competent, full time dedicated staff
All computer systems are connected to the local server and have firewalls installed
Users/operators restricted from changing permissions/settings on their systems
USB ports are disabled and printer access is given only to team leaders

Training

Training sessions on data security for all staff members periodically
Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with all staff members

Non-Physical Controls

Staff are authorized to login to portals only from our office IP address (based on platform permissions)
All servers are installed with firewalls and antivirus software
Breach notifications are set up
Restrictions on sending/receiving emails to/from specific domains
Our default passwords are stored in Zoho Vault with applied IP address restrictions
Destruction register is maintained
White-listing approach on visiting websites
Save/store data feature on PCs disabled
